There are literally millions of different probabilities when it comes to Texas Hold’em, so it would be unrealistic to bring them all up in a single short writing. What we can do though is go over a few of the more simple ones. Memorizing these probabilities will help you out the next time you sit down at the poker table, either virtual, or real. First a few of the easier ones: · The chances of getting dealt a pair are 220 to 1 · The chances of getting dealt a suited connector is 24.5 to 1 · The chance of receiving AK (Big Slick) in any suit is 331to 1 · The chances of receiving a big pair (JJ or Higher) 55 to 1 · The chances of being dealt two cards higher than a J is 10 to 1 · The chances of being dealt 7, 2 offsuit 109 to 1 Some of the tougher ones · The chances of all cards on the flop being the same rank (444 or AAA) is 424 to 1 · The chances of your pocket pair becoming three of a kind after the flop is 10 to 1 · The chances of o Pair on your flop improving to at least a pair is 2 to 1 · The chances of all cards on the flop being a different suit are 1.51 to 1 · The Chances of all cards on the flop being consecutive and the same rank is 459 to 1 Here is a list of possible starting hand combinations One player = 1,225 Two players = 690,900 Three players = 238,360,500 Four players = 56,372,258,250 Five Players = 9.7 Trillion Six Players = 1.2 Quadrillion Seven Players = 126 Quadrillion Eight Players = 10 Quintillion Nine Players = 622 Quintillion This is just a small sample of some of the probabilities that can be found in the unpredictable game of Texas Hold’em. There are math professors at major colleges who spend a lot of time figuring out every probability in every situation.
