What is a Low Roller? The term low roller can sound degrading, but it shouldn’t sound like that at all. Micro limit is a good way to build an initial bankroll, but the patience involved in playing for such tiny stakes is often not worth it to the player. These players often try to find games with weak players so they can capitalize on their bankroll, and hope to make a big score. Because of their bankroll limitations they are not able to sit down at any giant stakes table and sit through the many huge ups and downs their bankroll is liable to take. In online poker you can view each individual table to determine what table is best suited for you. There are many poker forums and review sites that try to predict what level of fish the players are, and of course these would be the most lucrative. Poker.com: This website is still fairly new, so it still generates lots of new players, which typically equals weak play. Poker.com is quickly growing because a lot of USA players need to find different places to play because of the recent laws being passed. Poker.com is also very well known for their generous freerolls, so a lot of players that have won freerolls are spending their winnings in the lower limit games, just itching to blow it.
